On 11-Mar, the Steele Athletics cheer teams placed highly at the PAC-West national competition in Portland, OR. On 14-Mar, Ilyas Hasert landed wrong on the trampoline in our yard, a tool he practices on regularly, and sustained a serious injury. He has had surgery, to remove a disk, fuse the vertebrae and install a metal plate. While the prognosis is good, it is going to be a long road to recovery. He has paralysis in his arms hands and left leg. On 21-Mar he was moved to the Craig Rehab Hospital. We Appreciate everyone keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. #ilyasstrong #steelestrong
