Ileana had 2 biopsies which came back positive for Breast Cancer, one of which is about 5cm. This classifies it as Stage 2a, and therefore everything is moving pretty rapidly.
The journey to recovery will take about 20 weeks of chemo, followed by a month of recovery and then surgery and another month of recovery. After that radiation may be required as well for another few weeks followed by another surgery and recovery.
Ileana is a fighter, and always very positive, and Cancer isn't strong enough to change that.
