Dear Friends & Family,
As many of you have heard, Ian was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He had not been feeling well for a few weeks.  In late February, he had a stomach virus that he struggled to recover from. In the following weeks, a cough that we thought was also viral just wouldn't get better. He also was easily fatigued and seemed to have quite a few small bruises on his body. After taking him to the doctor for an appointment and blood work, he was diagnosed with Leukemia.

We want to thank everyone for the amazing outpouring of love, prayers and friendship that we are receiving. We are so blessed to be living in such a wonderful community with wonderful  people.  I will try to provide updates as often as I possible can.  I have been told this is going to be a three and a half year treatment process.  As many of you know,  I am a planner and this was definitely not in our  plans! However, we are preparing for the challenge.  I know  that we can fight this with God, friends, family, doctors and nurses on our side. Please pray for Ian's healing and strength for our family.
