Hunter Uebel

On Wednesday, December 29th, in the middle of the night Hunter woke up with a very bad headache and became unresponsive. He was immediately transferred to the Howard County General hospital via 911 with what we thought at the time was a possible seizure due to his right side involuntarily moving. This first day was very scary as they tried to figure out why Hunter was not waking up and when they were able to arouse him it was very brief, and his speech was garbled and not making sense.  They started running numerous tests and we did finally get a diagnosis of a Left Parietal Stroke and Basal Ganglia stroke. Now the team is trying to figure out what caused these Strokes in a healthy 28-year-old man. We are using Caring Bridge to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
