While visiting at a friend's house last night, Hunter was shot in a tragic accident. The bullet penetrated his head right above his left eye and exited behind his ear. Surgery was performed last night for bone flap to relieve swelling. He is in ICU in critical condition and being kept sedated. This afternoon, an opthamologist will do surgery on his eye, which is damaged beyond repair, to close it prevent further infection. The doctor said pray specifically for these things: no continued swelling of brain; that bone fragments will not sever any arteries and cause bleeding; that spinal fluid will not leak into his brain and no infection. Also pray there's no permanent brain damage.
Our hearts are broken but we know that God is in control and we are trusting in Him for a miracle in this precious boy's life. We love and appreciate everybody and are so thankful for your prayers.
