Howard Vanderwell

Howard Vanderwell  is a Christian Reformed Pastor who has served four pastorates in the past forty years. During the fifteen years of his "retirement," he has continued serving the church at large on the basis of his pastoral experience. 

In 1972 he faced his first encounter with cancer, lymphoma, and experience which was repeated again in 1984 and 1990. In 2017, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has been battling it with the help of wonderful medical professionals and countless prayer warriors.

He lives in Hudsonville, MI. He finds great joy is being the father of three sons and eleven grandchildren.

He graduated from Calvin Seminary with a BD degree in 1962. Later he received his ThM degree there and later his DMin degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in California.
