On Thursday, July 18, 2013 Holly found out she had breast cancer. After learning it had spread to her lymph nodes, Holly and her care team decided it is best to start chemotherapy immediately, and follow-up with a double mastectomy. She then had radiation and reconstructive surgery. January 2015 Holly's cancer returned in multiple areas of her body, including her brain. Despite more chemotherapy and brain radiation, the cancer has continued to grow and spread. Holly is courageous and inspires those around her to be brave and to enjoy life and laugh as much as possible. Some of the updates on this site will be from Holly and some from her friends.
