As you may have noticed, mom has been battling some health issues this year. We'd like to use this site to help streamline all the updates from here on out. Also, you can direct message us here as well.

A little back story... Mom had passed out last Saturday. Was taken to the ER in Defiance and immediately transferred to Toledo Hospital. There, she underwent several tests concerning a TIA and her trouble with swallowing. Further complications with her throat lead to a surgical procedure to investigate a mass found in her throat. This mass was biopsied and we are told it is a type of tongue cancer. This surgical procedure required a tracheotomy. Currently she is recovering from the surgery very well. The trach will remain for about 4 weeks. Within this time she is not to talk. (Everyone have your chuckle.) For the most part it is painful and will be some getting used to.

We thank you all for all the love and support in this trying time!! Please keep the well wishes coming! She really loves to hear from you all.
