Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On May 17th , 2017 Holly and Brett were hit with news no one could have imagined. Holly was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer.  The cancer had spread to  3 other organs the most critical being the brain.  This past week was this first major step with the Gamma Knife Surgery on the largest Brain Tumor since it was causing swelling in the brain and it had shifted off mid line so her left-side was having issues. We hope it was successful but will know in a month.

Next up is her surgery for the port and first chemo treatment on Friday, June 16. We hope she will be a candidate for chemo every third week. She will be going to Charleston’s MUSC for treatments.

Holly's  lust for life has her fighting this disease with all her heart. While we know the fight will be hard at times we are all there to support her and Brett.  Both of them have done so much for the local Hilton Head community through the RBC Golf tournament as well as their church St Luke's .  Now is our turn to help support them through this journey. Do the "Ways to Help" page and click on the link to help with meals or groceries during chemo weeks.

"God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it." - unknown

I will update the site weekly. If you have any questions please email me directly

Thank you
