Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Holly had been hospitalized several times in the last few months and, for the last five weeks, had been on oxygen at home.  She has been diagnosed with interstitial lung disease. Holly has been hospitalized since Sunday, February 5, with a lung infection that the doctors have not, as yet, been able to determine the cause. She is in St. Paul's United Hospital in Room 3909.  She can have visitors, but she has requested that only family visit after 7:00 p.m.

Currently in the hospital, she has been intubated to receive oxygen and is also on a feeding tube. The goal of her doctors and nurses right now is to get her off of the ventilator and get her breathing on her own. They have also sent a sample of her lung fluid to the Mayo Clinic for further tests to try to determine what is causing the lung infection.

CaringBridge is a nonprofit social network dedicated to helping family and friends communicate with and support loved ones during a health journey. Learn more about CaringBridge.
