On July 3, 2019, Holly had a major accident/fall that resulted in multiple broken vertabrae, nerve damage, and injury to many neck and back mechanics. She had two major surgeries to repair damage at that time. She had many days in the hospital, then months of recovery at home.  She has made miraculous progress since the accident, but has remained with negative effects even so.  On Wednesday, February 24 , 2021, Holly will undergo back and neck surgery for the second time.  This purpose of this surgery is to repair damage from her accident in July 2019,  and remove and replace hardware from the previous repairs.  This is a major surgery that we hope will bring Holly relief from pain she has regularly endured for a very long time.  Please join in to with us to share your thoughts and prayers, and support Holly as she navigates her long road to recovery.  We will try our best to update at minimum once daily starting on the day of surgery to let everyone know how she is doing.  This will be done via journal entries on this site.  We know so many of you want to stay in the loop about how she is doing, and this page will help reduce our need to update many individual people every day, give us a central place for information, and allow us to focus most of our attention on Holly's care.  We thank you so much for being in Holly's corner and for supporting us as well!
