Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep Holly's family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support, prayers, and words of hope and encouragement.
Holly's Story:
On March 18th 2020 Holly was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma or simply put, Breast Cancer. After a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy, the doctors have determined the cancer is grade 3, and stage 3 with 1 lymph node under the arm involved. The cancer is Her2 negative and Hormone positive.
On March 25 she had a Bone Scan and CT scan to see if it has spread to other parts of her body. We are awaiting the results of those tests.
The doctors tentative plan for Holly is 20 weeks of chemotherapy, mastectomy, 5 weeks of radiation, and 10 yrs of of hormone therapy.
We will update with journal entries as more information and test results come in.
