The goal of this surgery is to address his aorta and aortic valve. This surgery has been necessary in less than 2% of children with transposition and is very complicated. His surgeons will not know the definite path until they are looking at Holden"s heart. Our prayer is that they can treat the dilation of his aortic root and are able to repair rather than replace his valve.
