Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  As most of you know, Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer last April. He recently suffered a stroke which has limited his ability to return emails and respond to messages.  Although he would love to answer each letter individually, that is not an option.  We are asking friends to share this website with others that may want to reach out to Dad and we promise to keep it updated to the best of our ability.

To date, Dad has received Chemotherapy treatments, but he is starting a new round of Double Chemotherapy that his doctor seems positive about. Dad is keeping his spirits high and that is no doubt due to the love and care of Susan who has taken on the lion's share of duties turning a stubborn retired surgeon into a much more stubborn patient. Our family will never be able to thank her family enough for the love and care they have shown him while we are miles away.

People keep asking both us if Dad wants to go back to his home, but he IS home.  Dad loves  Arizona and wants to be there more than any where else.  When  visiting the other day he told me that moving to AZ was one of the great decisions of his life,  I asked, "Because of the golf?"  He answered, "No, because of the friends I've made."
