Herb Streuli

Herb Streuli believed he found Utopia living fifteen years in Arizona; golfing, swimming, hiking, singing in both a chorus and choir, while making many great friends. But age, family and friends brought he and Ryn back to Washington. They had nearly settled in their new home when he took a significant fall, the pain was harsh.

Because he wasn’t feeling better after a few days, Herb visited Swedish Hospital ER in Edmonds, WA. and was promptly admitted. What initially began as routine tests and thought to be “fall trauma related” has instead become life changing with many decisions to be made.

Herb has been diagnosed with stage #4 lung cancer, terminal. Analyzation of the fluid found in his lung has identified 3 different cancers.  He starts 15 days of radiation on Wednesday, August 23rd. A tissue biopsy was performed and once the results are known, the chemotherapy plan will be decided, which will be approximately Friday, August 25th.
