Henry Marcy 4th

Henry Marcy 4 (my father) went into the hospital on Nov 6 with acute heart failure likely due to a sudden change to his mitral valve anatomy which resulted in it leaking much more than it had been (he and his doctor had been monitoring a small leak for several years).  For a variety of not very good reasons he spent a week in a hospital that could not tackle repair of his valve.  On Nov 13 Henry was finally moved to Mass General Hospital in downtown Boston.  They are working to get him ready for valve repair surgery, but it is challenging due to the fluid on his lungs.  I have provided a fairly detailed synopsis of his situation in one of the first journal posts here.   We will post updates as often as they make sense and will join with you in keeping Henry in our thoughts and prayers while sending him positive energy and love.
