Sonya Ndiaye Help fight the Cancer!

We are raising money for our beloved sister, Sonya Ndiaye, as she was recently diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer, which then metastasized to the back rib.


However, this is not a hopeless situation! She received her diagnosis in March 2019, and has been working with her oncologist and doctor to find the best course of treatment. She pursued an immediate route of a combined regimen from her oncologist and M.D., and has had periodic monitoring from her oncologist. Thank God the treatment is working!


Unfortunately, some of this treatment is not covered by her health insurance and it is quite expensive. She just completed her chemotherapy and radiation treatments, which took place over the past 8 months. In addition, Sonya will also need future surgeries on her breasts. Sonya has done everything possible to handle the financial burden on her own, but we thought it was time to reach out to the community she has served her entire life.


Many people have asked how they can help---monetary donations are a great way to show your support. Not only is cancer a terrible disease, but let's face it....cancer is expensive. Between her medical bills and her inability to work during her illness, her family faces a great financial burden. Our family created this page in the hope that it will lessen the burden of these expenses. That way, she can focus her energy on fighting, and winning, this battle with cancer.


While her diagnosis came as a shock to us all, her smile, positive attitude and sense of humor continues to guide her and everyone around her through this challenging time. Needless to say, Sonya is determined to crush cancer. Her faith in God has carried her through her life, and she has leaned on that faith so much during this battle.


So many people have been touched by Sonya’s ever-giving spirit. For those of you who don't personally know her, we want you to know she is a woman of faith and courage who has 3 amazing little boys and a husband who proudly serves in the United States Army. In addition, Sonya is an inspiration to everyone who has been blessed to have her in their lives. It is not in Sonya’s nature to ask anyone for help; rather, she is the one who is constantly giving from her heart and soul to those in need. We don't think she has ever turned anyone away who was in need.
