Andre is battling appendix cancer, which has spread to other organs in his body. He had a 13 hour long surgery in February of this year and after 6 week in the hospital he recovered quite well. He became strong enough to even meet his family in Spain and had a wonderful time. In September we found our that the cancer had metastasized into his liver and spine. This fall has been certainly rough between excruciating pain and receiving radiology to shrink the tumor in his spine. He has spent several weeks recently in Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore, and undergone some difficult procedures. He is at home now, recovering and gaining strength. He just got his first session of the more aggressive chemotherapy today Monday the 30th day of December. He us tired and needs to stay hydrated. Andre is a fighter and a great patient. We are positive and very hopeful but we can’t forget how terrible this illness really is. Please continue to pray for him.
