It all started October 4, 2017 with my annual mammogram. On October 26, 2017, I found out I had breast cancer. On January 5, 2018, I'll have a double mastectomy to take care of this problem. That's the short version. My journal entries will fill in the details. As my tshirt says in my profile picture, I was "born to live a long and happy life." Thanks Delta Rae for the inspiring lyrics - this is now my theme song and my battle cry!!
