Helen was diagnosed with a glioblastoma on October 27, 2018, a highly malignant form of cancer that spreads quickly due to its association with the large network of blood vessels in the brain.  Without treatment, she has been given two to three months.  With aggressive treatment, that would include surgery, chemo, and radiation she was given six months to a year. As of now, she has decided to go home with hospice care, to receive palliative treatment. Helen has handled this diagnosis with courage and grace, just as we all knew she would.   This site has been started to keep friends and family updated.  Please leave words of encouragement, wonderful memories you have shared with this amazing family, and tell us a little about yourself and how you are connected.   I will be updating this site by the updates sent to me by Bill, her husband of 48 years.
