On Friday, December 22nd, Auntie had to be taken out of her home to Parma Hospital via EMS because she was unable to walk. This is where our story begins. Without going into details, the medical staff found bedsores on her back and behind which led to numerous tests. They then found that she has an irregular heartbeat, her sugar was up, and her ankle was swollen from what they found to be a fractured bone in her lower leg. She is being treated for all of the above.
She is now at Pleasant Villa Lake Nursing Home for rehab. It is located just south of Day Drive, so at least close for mom to visit. Not so close for us.
