Heidi was recently diagnosed with breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma) that has spread to her hip. She is undergoing 6 initial chemo treatments every three weeks. These initial 6 treatments have additional treatments with them and takes about 4 hours. Once this is complete she will have just chemo every three weeks for one year.
