Welcome to our CaringBridge site. Mindy and I created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your prayers of healing, your support, words of hope, and encouragement during this journey.
Friends, having played sports all my life, especially baseball, I have found that to be ready to hit in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded, with the game on the line, you have to step to the plate with confidence, assurance and readiness. I have that, but only because Christ Jesus is holding on to me(John 10:27-30) as He is all of His children. With the challenging news we have been dealt the last few weeks, cancer in my lung and brain, I have felt His loving arms around my family and I. Through timely Bible verses, your many prayers, and acts of kindness, we have certainly seen God at work. We have a joy and peace unspeakable. THANK you all so much for your love, prayers and kindness. Like our pastor Bob Curtis says, as believers, "we don't know what tomorrow holds, but we do know WHO holds tomorrow!" I take great comfort in that fact and hope you all do as well. The gospel of Christ, is not just good news, it is GREAT news. Our Lord, how great Thou Art! Now it is time to step up to the plate and knock it out of the park and have Victory in Jesus.
