Heather has always been the sole provider for her family, working two jobs, as a hairdresser (Salon Esprit) and animal technician (Abington Animal Hospital). Despite her busy life with three young children, over the years she has always made time to serve others, doing hair for shut-ins, sick and elderly, including cancer patients. She has always been a favorite of clients for her listening ear and kind heart.
Now that she has stage IV breast cancer, the time is now for giving back to Heather, helping her to support her and her three young children during this time when she is unable to work and provide for her family.
This site is about keeping family and friends updated in one place, as well as providing Heather with as much support and love as we can give her. So, WELCOME!
Because so many have asked "How can I help?" ...
If you would like to donate a gift card, you can drop it off at Salon Esprit (E. Bridgewater, MA) or Abington Animal Hospital (Abington MA) and it will be delivered to Heather. Or if you would like to donate money towards something specific (one patron provided money for one of Heather's children to have a birthday party -- so thoughtful!), please indicate the intention of the donation, and family members will carry it out in honor of your wish.
We want you to know that any funds raised through this site will go towards basic living expenses like groceries and laundry, and paying for medical bills and treatments. Even a little means a lot. Babysitting, meals and the gift of "you" is just as meaningful and helpful to Heather at this time.
