Heather has GIST Cancer (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor). It is metastatic to the liver and lungs. She’s currently taking chemo, which is 800 mg per day (double the standard dose) of Imatinib (Gleevec). We’re living scab to scan to see whether the medication needs to be changed.

Phil is taking excellent care of Heather. She has stopped working due to the side effects of the medications. We also have a lot of support from daughter Maggie, son Otto, and dogs Frankie and Zoey.

We’ll put a little history in the blogs / updates.
