Update January 2022

December 30 we received news the cancer spread to the brain, the cerebellum to be precise. 16 tumors throughout. Radiation will begin the week of January 9. Chemo will resume after three non-consecutive treatments.

It’s going to be more aggressive than before. Another MRI at approximately eight weeks after the initial radiation. This is all subject to change, nothing has been as expected.

Another update January 2022

Radiation was extended to six treatments.
Chemo should begin first week or so of February.

**UPDATE JULY 2021**
Due to a car accident in June that resulted in a fractured L2 vertebrae CT, PET, ECHO are on hold. I'm in a brace until September and can't have the tests with it on. I'm trying to figure it all out as the tests are pretty important.

I found a lump on accident (story will come later) when I was leaning an off way. It could’ve taken months to find it if I was looking, as it was deep and in an odd place.
That said, thank you so much for your support in any way you choose.

I’ve been asked by many “how can I/ we help?” I have links here on the page for you and in my site here. Thank you for your help and anything you’ve already done.

Again absolutely no one feel pressured. I don’t have the time to field questions daily. I’m sleeping a lot as it is now, prior to treatment. No idea what the future holds. Thank you for caring.

Heather now has new tumors in her liver.  Her prognosis and treatment plan will be adjusted accordingly in the coming days. We will keep everyone updated, and than you so much for your support.

Friends have created the following pages to help out. The following are an amazon wishlist (as discussed above), a GoFundMe and a GiveInKind. Give in kind is for gift cards to help out however the person giving would like to help the family. These are added at the request of others wanting to help. Thank you for being such wonderful, caring, amazing people. Many of you have helped out already. As we hit the hardest part of chemo and come upon surgery it just gets harder, worse. Thank you again.

Amazon wishlist as requested by several people. It has a bit of everything.
