Ok family, I’m In isolation until after surgery. I have been scheduled for a colorectal resection on October 26th. It’s a major surgery with 4-5 day hospital stay and six week home recovery.
The next month will be rough cause my immune system is basically gonna have to reboot itself so I have a better chance of fighting off possible infections so I’ll be dealing with a lot of pain and pretty much isolating from the world to keep myself safe.


I’m scared and my vanity is a barrier I’m gonna have to buck up and deal with mentally.  There’s a lot of pre-op procedures and other appointments I have to go through but hopefully I will be better after all is said and done. 


I’ve fought a good fight for seven years to heal from this without resorting to the surgery option. Now it’s life or death and I choose life.  


Y’all pray for me and our little branch of the family cause this is gonna try a few nerves.  That’s all we got for info now. And we will update everyone as this moves forward. ❤️#mycrazyfamily


My daughters will be helping as they can but What I need and hopefully be organizing are:
-Prepped meals for my kiddos while I’m in the hospital
-grocery and some prepped meals during the first two weeks  of my recovery 
(I’m hoping to ease back into meal preparation and cooking at least one meal a day as my health permits it.
-having healing reflection time and art therapy during hospital stay and home recovery.
- slowly reacquainting myself with social connections (this is a very debilitating disease at the best of times and not easily talked about)
-making sure my kiddos are not overwhelmed with household chores, virtual learning and worry about their BigMama.
Their mental health is vital to me that they can work through this and still have childhood experiences and lives in this chaos.
