It has been a really big summer for Hayden. Hayden and Tom moved from Colorado Springs to Castle Rock on July 1st to move in with Kelly and Maya. Shortly after the move he went to Arizona and San Diego with Tom's mom and Avery, and when they got back from San Diego, Avery moved to Castle Rock too. Hayden has been navigating a new city, new home, new step-sister-to-be, dog sisters and a new school
During this time we saw some changes in Hayden. He was walking a little slower, struggling on his bike, getting headaches, etc. At first we thought it was just anxiety due to the move. We took him to the doctor on August 22 and on August 23 we found out he had a brain tumor.
