When Harper was about 1 day old we found out she had a congenital heart condition called tetralogy of fallot. It is a condition that exists of four different defects that include: a large ventricular septal defect (a hole in her ventricle), pulmonary stenosis (narrowing of her pulmonary valve, right ventricle hypertrophy (muscle in her right ventricle is thicker than usual), and an overriding aorta. We were told that she would eventually need surgery to fix this and would be having quite a few cardiologist visits. We were so thankful to God to find out it is treatable and know we are going thru this for a reason and need to completely trust God for the outcome!
