We first noticed our little angel had jaundice around July 17th, which is very abnormal for a 7-month old child. Her skin and eyes had a yellowish tint! Our clinic did a test and liver numbers were elevated. The doctor then sent us to Dallas. At the liver GI clinic they did more testing and numbers were more elevated! Harleigh was admitted STAT to the Children's Hospital in Dallas for extensive testing! Normal jaundice levels are like 1/2 and Harleigh's came back 10. Her direct levels which is real important...normal is .5 and Harleigh's is 6.
