On Saturday evening, December 22, 2019, Tiffany brought Harlan to Regional West Hospital in Scottsbluff, NE because they had been noticing he was having troubles with his balance and some slurring speech, and they were continuing to get worse. After a long night full of tests, they were informed that Harlan has a tumor deep in his brain.
On Sunday morning, the neurosurgeon determined that the tumor was inoperable and decided that the next step to would be to do a biopsy of the tumor to determine what it is and what caused it.
The biopsy was preformed on the evening of December 23rd and went great! They got two really great samples and sent them to two separate labs. Currently, we are waiting for the results. They should be in soon after the first of the year.
His wonderful wife Tiffany and all of his children and grand children have been gathered around his bed taking great care of him and making him laugh all along the way.
