On October 13th, Hannah started with a few chickenpox. In the next few days she started with quite alot more, along with a backache & stomach ache. Till Monday Oct 17th, Hannah was quite miserable. The family doctor told us to go to the ER. We went there and they did bloodwork & xrays, gave fluids for being dehydrated. They sent us home then with antibiotics. On Tuesday morning, Hannah woke up with a slight cough. By Wednesday, Oct 19th she was over-the-top miserable.  The family doctor requested to see her. We went to his office but were immediately sent by ambulance to Ephrata hospital to stabilize her before being taken to Hershey Children's hospital.  Hannah was admitted  into PICU with a diagnosis of chickenpox pneumonia. Hannah was on the Bipap at 100 percent oxygen overnight. On Thursday morning,  Oct 20th the doctors sedated her and put in a breathing tube. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
