Hamza Azzouz Hamza's Challenge

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. Hamza is having what is called a Single-event Multi-level surgery for his legs. His procedures are: a Proximal femoral osteotomy and a Tibial Derotation Osteotomy. He might also have to have a Pelvic Osteotomy but until they get in there, they don't know if they will have to do that yet. So far, the only procedures planned, are the two mentioned. If he has to have the pelvic procedure, it will mean more time in casts, less movement for him, and possibly missing some school at the beginning of the year.
