When Hailey was around 7 she started having frontal lobe seizures. We were told she would outgrow them. Several years and meds later, she was still having them and they were getting worse. We decided to get a second opinion at Seattle Children’s Hospital.  Since we have been going to Seattle Children’s her meds have been switched and discussion of surgery happened.

The surgeon we are working with thinks she would be a good candidate for surgery to remove the part of her brain that is causing the seizures. He believes that while developing 2 nerves crossed and are firing off the wrong signals.

Before we even consider that surgery, there have been many appointments we needed to do beforehand. Her surgeon wants to know exactly where the seizures are coming from.

Hailey just wants the seizures to quit so that she can take drivers ed💜🙂she has been a trooper through all of this and has amazing people by her side.
