Gwen Yueh

Hi, welcome to the CaringBridge site for Gwen Gilbert Yueh.  She was diagnosed with bilateral, multi-site breast cancer in December of 2016.  Her medical team (surgeon, medical oncologist, and radiation oncologist) is part of the Duke Medical network.  Her immediate support team includes her husband of 28 years, Alan, and four awesome kids: Asher (20, a student at Emory University in Atlanta), Hannah (18, a student at Barnard College of Columbia University, NYC), Joshua and Caleb (high school students in Durham, NC).  She also has a sister, Gail, and mother-in-law, Grace, both of whom also live in Durham and are part of her support team.


Gwen has a passion for singing and dancing, including musicals and show-tunes; and out of that love comes some of her other local supporters: VocalMotion and a recent performance run of "Smoky Joe's Cafe".  Other supporters are also from her extensive list of friends from church, schools, neighbors, and employment.


It is our hope and prayer that this site will allow you all to see the victory and progress during her treatment: to God be the Glory!
