Gwen Saladin

Welcome family and friends.  Thank you for visiting this site.  Many of you have heard about Gwen’s illness. We will use this site to try to keep everyone informed and updated.  
On Aug. 5, Gwen, who had been enjoying a vivacious, healthy life,  was taken to the ER in severe pain.  There she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. The cancer had already spread through her body, concentrating in the liver and also spotting the lungs and stomach lining.  None of the doctors or oncologists recommended chemo as there was no supporting evidence it would improve her situation with her progression. After 4 days of hospitalization, she returned home. She is in the care of her family and Hospice. We have all be shocked and heart-broken to travel this road, and we appreciate your prayers and thoughts  for healing, well being and peace.
