Guy was diagnosed with MDS (Myeloidsplastic Syndrome) in the fall of 2014.  The first year was rather uneventful however; this past year has been quite the rollercoaster.  Dad and mom have spent some quality time in multiple hospitals (he refers to them as his Marriott visits) with multiple infections.

Last Friday, July 8, dad was admitted to Jewish Hospital with a high fever.  Unfortunately, his MDS has progressed and his condition has now changed to AML (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia).  He will remain in Jewish Hospital for the next month with an aggressive chemo induction therapy treatment to attempt to put him in remission.  The next 14 days are critical so please keep him in your prayers.
