Good morning!! Last Monday, August 10th, we were on vacation with my 3 amazing sibs and our families. Felt some nerve pain in my left breast, did a self check, and found a lump in my breast and a couple marble-sized lumps in my left armpit. After a tele-health visit Tuesday with my doctor, of 18 years, Lar and I came home Thursday (our offspring stayed with the family). Had a mammogram Friday AM (8/14), straight to ultrasound, then biopsies...all in the same day. This past Monday, the 17th, my doctor let me know I have stage 3 breast cancer due to (1) the 6x8 cm size of the main lump, and the fact I have the additional 3-4 malignant lumps in my armpit. Had an MRI On Thursday (8/20), results came back right breast is clear. So, good news. PET Scan  was yesterday, Friday (8/21). Shld have results Monday. Genetics testing this Tuesday. We meet with the oncologist on the 31st and with the surgeon on Sept 3rd. I’m submitted as STAT, so any openings for either and I’ll get in to see them sooner. Surgery will be abt 1 week after I see the surgeon. We’re all staying “positive and strong”, just overwhelmed and in a lot of pain.  But I WILL beat this. We have an incredibly supportive family and group of friends. I am so very grateful and thank all of you for your love and support. It means the world to me. To us. Thank you!
