Gryffin was diagnosed with Leukemia on December 4th, 2021, after Chau and Bret brought him to the doctor due to lethargy, lack of appetite, and spots on his body that indicated a blood issue. Further testing quickly revealed the need for a blood transfusion, more testing, and soon thereafter, the start of chemotherapy. This is the story of how Gryffin was diagnosed with blood cancer at age 3.5, but his real story is much deeper and more vast. Gryffin is a kid that can light up the room with his smile or break your heart with his frown. He loves playing with his friends, fishing with his dad, cuddles, reading books with his mama and learning to swim. He is a beautiful boy full of a life that is not yet fully lived. This page will offer insight into his battle against Leukemia and act as a placeholder for updates and specifics as to how to support Gryffin, Chau, and Bret in their battle against childhood cancer.
