In June of 2017 Greg was not feeling well and was having discomfort when eating certain foods. He went to see his doctor and based on symptoms they thought he may have pancreatitis. A few days later, he was able to enjoy his daughter's wedding, but continued to feel ill. After seeing the doctor again he had an ultrasound, which revealed a tumor on his pancreas and several spots on his liver. On July 14, 2017 Greg saw Dr. Jonathan Cheng at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. After further testing Greg was diagnosed with stage IV adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. Greg has additional testing scheduled at Fox Chase, and after the results are in Dr. Cheng will determine the best course of treatment for him.
As you can imagine, this has been sad and overwhelming, HOWEVER, the family is totally trusting God and choosing to stay in His peace. Your prayers and words of well wishes on this site will go a long way in encouraging them and letting them know they are loved.
As we learn more about what the family's needs will be, I will post those under the support section and on the task calendar. If you would like to contact me directly my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.

"But now, this is what the Lord says - he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43: 1-2
