Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. On July 6th, Greg tested positive for COVID -19. He spent the first week of his illness treating his symptoms at home. At the start of the second week, he began having shortness of breath that took us to the ER. Greg was admitted to the hospital on July 12th. He spent the following week receiving oxygen until July 16th when he was put on a ventilator. Greg spent 6 days on the ventilator and 15 days in ICU before transitioning to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
During this time Susan, Meredith and Stuart also contracted COVID -19 but have since recovered.
