On September 3, 2021, Greg went to the ER with some rib/abdominal pain. It was discovered he has stage 4 prostate cancer that had metastasized to his ribs, spine, scapula, humeri and femurs. This is normally something they see in older men who have gone through prostate cancer and treatment before. Within a couple of weeks, Greg started having pretty severe hip pain and still struggles with both the hip and ribs. This is our way to keep anyone who is interested updated. Despite the diagnosis, Greg’s attitude and outlook remain positive and uplifting, showing that even through adversity, there are blessing to be found in each and every day.
