Welcome to this CaringBridge website which I am using to keep family and friends updated in one place. I have so much appreciated all of the support and words of hope and encouragement, thus far. Thank you!
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV)
A little background: On October 10, 2017, my urologist entered the waiting room and, after the pleasantries, continued our conversation with, "Nobody likes to hear this, but . . . " Thus began this surprising and unexpected chapter of my life piloting the peculiar maze of a cancer diagnosis (stage two prostate cancer, to be specific). Granted, it has since been confirmed to be non-aggressive, and it was caught early, but an obstacle, nonetheless. That is where this particular chapter in my story begins.
"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:37-39, NIV)
