**This story is now being updated. Greg has been diagnosed with another brain tumor. We will use this site to keep people up to date on the latest.***

Jeremiah 29:11-12 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. Please check back often for updates on Greg! To start, click on "My Story" and get updated! Please read our journal and write in our guestbook and continue your prayers. God is good!

First of all, I want to thank all of you for your support and prayers over these past weeks/months of our lives.  These past few weeks would have been much harder if all of you hadn't come alongside the 3 of us to offer you support and encouragement.  I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the phone calls, e-mails, and well wishes that so many of you have offered.

On April 9th, I collapsed due to a seizure on Friday afternoon while eating.  I was rushed to the hospital unconscious and was in ICU until Saturday evening and was dismissed Sunday afternoon.  Then on Monday while recuperating at home, I had another seizure and was rushed to the hospital again. THis is when they determined I have a small, low-grade tumor. Once the doctors determined that I had enough anti-seizure medication in my bloodstream, they allowed me to return home from the hospital. Last Friday, April 16th, I had a biopsy for the tumor. I have been recovering well and am positive. Our next steps will be to get the results and explore options and steps to take from here on out. This is where this site will come in handy, as we will put all of our updates up on here for you to keep in touch! The Dr's have remained very optimistic and have indicated there is no reason there cannot be a 100% recovery, so we are encouraged.

The staff at TMS, the membership of CSBOA, and each of you have been wonderful during this process.  The long term prognosis for this is good, I just don't want to take these anti-seizure meds for the long term.
