Greg has suffered a massive "widow maker" heart attack sometime within the last 6 days (April 24-28). Due to the symptoms of food poisoning on Monday, April 24, coupled with diabetes (resulting sometimes in lack of pain), his symptoms didn't present as a typical heart attack. Testing showed the Left Ventricular Decending Artery was completely blocked from the beginning through most of the artery. They removed the clot, placed stents and balooned it, but it was too late. The entire front heart muscles that were supplied by that branch of the Left Coronary Artery were dead, having lacked blood flow for too long, and will no longer squeeze to adequately pump blood throughout the body. He is on life support and the U of M Cardiology team is deciding on the best course of care. Please pray fervently for the Lord's divine healing and for God's wisdom and insight for his care team! Due to the severity of the situation, I am calling on anyone who desires to fast and pray until his heart begins improving by God's divine intervention and empowering his medical team. If you choose to fast, please stay hydrated and do not fast if you are diabetic or have contraindicated health issues.
God has amazing saved him from the widow maker initial attack and has brought him this far. I believe that God is not done with him yet on Earth and that God has a larger plan in all of this. May He be glorified whatever happens.
