Early Sunday morning, January 19, 2020, Greg awoke feeling great discomfort. He was transported from his home in Chetek by ambulance to Barron Memorial and then med-flighted from Barron to Luther where he is now a patient in the CCU. Greg has suffered a severe stroke. His left side has been affected. He is able to talk but he is very sleepy and presently has limited feeling on his left side (the bleed was on the right side of his brain). The edema around the "bruise" is stable and the doctor is hopeful that over the next few days the swelling will continue to go down. While he would love your visit his wife, Rachel, feels its best to call before you make the drive down as he may be sleeping.
