Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Our cancer journey started the end of November, 2017. Gregg was in Louisville for the RV Show and thought he had caught a cold, but then started coughing up blood. When he got home, he went to his primary care physician who prescribed an antibiotic for bronchitis, but also sent him for a C-scan of his chest. The scan showed a mass in his right lung so we were referred to the Goshen Cancer Center. An appointment was made for December 23 with Dr Ebenezer Kio, a lung cancer specialist. Dr Kio ordered a pulmonary test, a lung biopsy and a petscan.
