On August 10, 2020 Gregg received the call that UPMC had new lungs available for him.
This is his lung transplant journey.
Gregg was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in 1998. Then in 2014 he was also diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, a genetic component that contributes to and worsens COPD.
