Following a rather fortunate very early diagnosis of oesophageal cancer in August I am pleased to say I am in the hands of a team of excellent doctors. I have received first rate medical care at the Churchill hospital. I completed 5 weeks of chemotherapy and radiotherapy and coped well during the treatment.
I will be going into hospital on the 10th December for the removal of my oesophagus. This is bit of a major surgical intervention and we have been told to expect a full recovery. I will be looking forward to my turkey soup on Christmas Day.
This website is a free site and will act as an update page in order for anyone who wishes to get an update to see how the op and recovery goes. We will try not to post too many updates but will add a few photos and info as and when.
