Grant had a swollen lymph node in his neck that our doctors were treating/monitoring throughout the month on May. After moving into our house (that my dad and husband just spent that last year building themselves) we woke up to find the lymph node was spreading to the back of his neck. What followed that was a series of blood tests, appointments, surgery, and a lot of waiting on biopsy results. Grant was officially diagnosed, last week, with a rare type of Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes). We found out today that he is within a rare subgroup within his rare type of Hodgkin's lymphoma. Our oncologist is outstanding and has been working with doctors across the country to find the best treatment for Grant. He will have a procedure Monday to have a port placed and will start his first round of Chemotherapy on Tuesday.

Grant has always been our little fighter, even our anesthesiologist confirmed it. He has been brave and is ready to fight. We are so grateful to all the support we have received from family and friends.
